a 5-part program for leaders, and emerging leaders, at UW's Botanic Gardens. Focused on building leadership skills to inspire teams to collaborate and innovate, the program includes: how to use Nature Inspired Leadership Tools™ with your teams,
an individual 360° assessment, opportunities for rich conversation and generating ideas with others, inter-session coaching, and practical tools to catalyze collaboration and innovative thinking. The program meets once a month through May 2016.

Denise DeLuca will be teaching this 10-week online course for the MCAD Masters of Sustainable Design program. Students learn how to abstract functional strategies from nature to apply to the process of innovative design. This project-oriented course covers core biological principles, astounds students with the wealth of design solutions available in nature, and provides numerous case studies of innovative designs inspired by natural models. This course provides powerful metaphors and methods for looking to nature as model, mentor, and measure in our designs.
